What is CCV Code?

In checkout page, we ask for your credit card certification value (CCV) code for increased security and protection against fraud.

For MasterCard, Maestro, and Visa credit cards, you can find this 3-digit value on the back of your card. For American Express cards, this 4-digit number is found printed on the front of your card.

As required by law, we will never store your Credit Card Number and CVV code anywhere and it is discarded after transmission in the checkout.

Error If Show Status Box:

Do Not Honor.This means the financial institution or the CC issuer bank did pass this error to the payment process and for this reason the payment cannot be processed or approved.

Your credit card provider may have closed your account due to lack of funds. For more details about the problem you have to contact your bank or financial institution and ask them what’s wrong with it.

Why was my transaction declined?

There are several common reasons for declined payments:

  • Type of credit card used
  • Outdated card information (especially expiration dates)
  • Incorrect card information (especially mistyped numbers)
  • Incorrect security code (or CVC)
  • Billing information  does not match the billing information on file with your banking institution
  • Daily limit of maximum sum or number of transactions is set on your card (you can increase this limit by contacting your credit card provider)

How can I find out more information about a specific decline?

We show as much information as we can from the bank about a decline. Unfortunately most declines are generic because banks try to protect their customer's privacy (they won't tell us if there are insufficient funds on your account for example), so we don’t have much information as to why a charge was specifically declined. If all of the card information seems correct, it is best to contact your bank or credit card company, inquire for more information, and ask for future charges to be accepted. We know it sounds tedious, but banks often fail to communicate to their customers about transaction-specific blocks.
